About the data

RxNorm

RxNorm gives every clinical drug a normalized name and a concept id (RxCUI), and links brand and generic forms, ingredients and NDCs. It is the common language for e-prescribing and drug data.

healthcare.dev serves the RxNorm Current Prescribable Content subset, which NLM publishes without licensing restrictions. This product uses publicly available data from the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services; NLM is not responsible for the product and does not endorse or recommend this or any other product.
