CMS publishes quarterly updates; we load each one when it is released.

About the data

HCPCS Level II

HCPCS Level II codes describe what CPT doesn't: durable medical equipment, supplies, ambulance services and drugs given in a clinic (J codes). CMS updates them every quarter.

The API serves each quarterly file with CMS attributes such as coverage and BETOS codes. Dental (D-series) codes are CDT, copyrighted by the ADA, and are never included. We don't serve CPT descriptions, which are licensed by the AMA.
